Synonyms
According to Fryxell, The Natural History of the Cotton Tribe, the name Gossypium drynaroides has been misapplied to Kokia cookei, but Kokia drynaroides is not the same as Kokia cookei. Consequently I think that it at best unsafe to give Gossypium drynaroides and Kokia drynaroides as synonyms.
