- You are correct but if you add any references from other languages administer editors of wikipedia do not allow them and reject them. This is a big problem with wikipedia. Whoever set the rules for acceptance of articles for mainspace should have separate scientific topics from non-scientific topics and only scientific topics should have this rule of getting referenced from English and allow non English references for non-scientific topics but unfortunately that has not been done so far and so giving references from other languages is not possible. I hope this change is done to help prepare articles for non-scientific subjects with non-English references. Pathare Prabhu ( talk) 18:10, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
