What I think should be changed: The article should be updated to reflect that I (Kathryn Huff) am no longer the Assistant Secretary as I have returned to my position as an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering.
Why it should be changed: The article lists me (Kathryn Huff) as the current Assistant Secretary. However, I resigned on May 3, 2024. No successor has yet been nominated. Dr. Mike Goff is currently fulfilling the duties of the office as the Acting Assistant Secretary.
References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button): A variety of references are available in the press [1][2][3][4][5]
