– Okay, I've waited a few months since the last nomination for movement, and since then the baseball player's notability has only increased. Over the past 3 months this page has averaged 2,069 views per day compared to 765 since the last nomination. This is the only page that is getting thousands of views per day compared to the other eight Julio Rodriguez pages listed on the disambiguation page. His views account for 99.55% of total views on pages with 'Julio Rodriguez' in the title. Also Google search results are almost exclusively about the baseball player and since he was named an All-Star this season further solidifies his notability. Therefore the baseball player should be the
WP:PRIMARY TOPIC.

Support, since I supported in the previous RM, and as shown, the stats clearly display the baseball player is the primary topic. The player is an All-Star and won Rookie of the Year. The arguments against were unconvincing, "too common a name, too many articles", which, in addition to not being an argument, is not saying much when 7 of the articles are barely notable footballers. --

Oppose. Of course a 22-year-old baseball player who's still playing is going to get most hits. But there's no way anyone can prove that his long-term significance beats all the others combined. --

There's no way anyone can ever prove anyone's long-term significance compared to anyone else's. It's always a subjective judgment.

I disagree. As an All-Star and Rookie of the Year, he's already in the record books for the long term. But that aside, if none of the others have more long-term significance, and this person has the overwhelming pageviews, this person is the primary topic at this time.

Utterly meaningless to those of us outside the small number of countries in which baseball is played. A handful of baseball players clearly do have very well-established long-term significance even outside those countries, but he is not one of them. --

No doubt. But we are a global encyclopedia, without borders. On a global basis, there's no question that among those wanting to read about a person named Julio Rodriguez, the vast majority want and expect to read about this one. If you type just "Julio" in WP's search engine, he's one of the ten results that pop up.
