Hi! I'm new to editing on Wikipedia and not totally clear on all the ettiquette for doing so, but I thought any editors of this page might be interested in the following facts (which either conflict with or enhance the current version of it). Ms. Geeson owns a gift shop, not an antique shop, as reported in this entry. Also, the shop is known as "Blanche," not "Blanche & Co.," although the latter is the legal name for it. Lastly, Ms. Geeson has a website for the shop, it is as follows: www.blanchela.com.

I have been puzzled by this for many years. I have never heard anyone pronounce it with a soft G, but have long assumed that the surname is a variant of Gee, always pronounced Jee. However, I have never heard her, or anyone close to her, pronounce it and it seems to me that her name would sound better if it were alliterative.
