According to the article her birth name was "Judy", she changed it at some point to "Judith" (but was still called "Judy" as a nickname. This is the opposite of the usual. It's not impossible. But I couldn't find any refs for this. Since it's more unlikely than likely, I changed it.

Judy was the second woman to receive her Naval Aviator wings. Barbara Ann Allen received her wings on 22 February 1974, one week prior to Judy 47.185.22.245 ( talk) 21:40, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
