Consensus text
On
July 20,
2001, one of Scarborough's aides died after hitting her head on a desk when she fainted while alone in Scarborough's
Fort Walton Beach, Florida, office.[1] According to Scarborough, soon after her death allegations "spread all over the Internet" that he had been involved,[2] although there was no evidence of foul play. In 2003, he joked about the incident with
Don Imus on Imus' radio program[3] and, in 2004, it was the subject of a public spat between Scarborough and filmmaker
Michael Moore.[4]
Because of the controversial nature of the subject, please do not substantially modify or remove this section without first discussing the issue on the talk page. If you do, you will almost certainly be reverted.
Remember to
assume good faith. Finally, remember that consensus can change over time, and after a while it may be necessary to take a straw poll on which version is preferable.
