His voice isn't nearly that high, I'd place him between tenor and alto but I'm hardly an expert. For comparison, listen to recordings of Alessandro Moreschi, an actual castrato. Or, you know, a female soprano.

Little Jimmy Scott
He was known as "Little" Jimmy Scott in the 50s and 60s. Since his resurgence in popularity he's called himself Jimmy Scott. --

This is Jimmy Scott's wife and personal manager.
To add to your page Jimmy has also received the "Jazz In Our Time" LIVING LEGEND AWARD at the Kennedy Center March 2007, as well as the N.A.B.O.B. PIONEER AWARD that same month.
'Jimmy & I' have moved from Euclid, Ohio 3 years ago and reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jimmy has not lived in N.J. since 1996, nor I since 1999.
