Conflicting year of birth

Reliable baseball sources (mlb.com, b-r.com, retrosheet.org) indicate Hicks' year of birth was 1940. His obituary indicates 1939. I have changed the article to indicate 1940. Bob305 ( talk) 16:35, 6 November 2020 (UTC) reply
