Most of the entry is pulled word for word from his personal site. Is that appropriate? Pgrote ( talk) 23:37, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
DePreist appears to have battled polio, kidney disease (according to Allmusic), and a heart attack. Is there a way to group these together, perhaps in a "Health problems and death" section, or a "Personal life" section. The health issues were spread throughout his lifetime, though, and perhaps even unrelated. -- Another Believer ( Talk) 19:35, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Looks to me like the entire "Guest appearances" section is a copy-paste from the Julliard site. Sometimes, though, the apparent RS has lifted material from Wikipedia. Not sure about this one. Any thoughts? Finetooth ( talk) 21:39, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
I'm unfamiliar with the specific guidelines for music biographies. I was going to add an infobox but saw the warning note. I began to alter the language of the discography paragraph, then realized that probably the 15 recordings meant or might mean 15 CDs. This led to the thought that a complete list might be a good idea. It's here, but I think I should follow your lead on this, AB. You've done a lot of music-related articles, and I've done none. There may be a particular way of formatting these things, as tables maybe? Finetooth ( talk) 01:07, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
