Perhaps somebody familiar with this person can check this article for accuracy, and can comment on whether this person is at all notable at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Franklin Parks. -- Rob 07:41, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
I don't think there should be a mention of the FIRE "award" in this article. If you actually read that article, and look at the actual code of conduct, you see that FIRE actually took some editing liberties, and changed a major bit of the code around. They removed "abuse" and put in "offend", making it seem like JSU was saying no one should speak. That means the "award" is based on a lie, and shouldn't have been given at all. This is especially true since the sample given in this article is different from the one they used, and saying the "award" was given for that sample and not the edited version isn't true. What is up with the Campus Events section? Was that copied and pasted from a newspaper? It looks JUST like it was, and is EXTREMELY awkward in this article. Someone either revert the edit that did that, or shorten it a LOT, please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.155.147.241 ( talk) 01:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

The first paragraph of the section about the Marching Southerners needs to be rewritten. As it is of this writing, it sounds heavily like a PR statement or an ad; hardly encyclopedic. I'd fix it myself, but I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the subject. - 205.174.48.101 ( talk) 19:10, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
