provided link refers to his professional time in the misspelled "Estudientes". I haven't been able to find any other reference to this, perhaps he was not notorious as a player but as a political figure.

To whom does "Maobama" refer in the closing lines? It just sounds like some right-wing joke (Mao + Obama), and is not mentioned anytime in the prior article.
