Please correct. They have a native delicacy called uvod (the pith of the banana stalk) - uvod is not derived from the pith but rather from the root of the banana, though technically it is a modified stem called corm. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.92.144.128 ( talk) 08:41, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
