What does it mean for this lake to be the headwater of the river? Does this mean there are no more lakes between there and the ocean? Why wouldn't water flowing into the lake be counted as part of the source of the river?
I looked up headwaters in wikipedia and that wasn't much clearer. But you could link to it. 72.208.56.148 13:49, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Could you back up your statement about it being a "key location for summer fun"? It sounds like you are trying to sell me the park. I would like to know how many people visit the park. Does this make it a busy park compared to other Minnesota State Parks? Shishigashira 16:30, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
I changed it from "key" (vague) to "popular", and added a cite (496,651 visitors in 2006), and removed the fact tag. Also updated that same number in the sidebar. Plus changed wording a bit in the Recreation winter paragraph, and added a link to snowmobile. T-bonham 18:37, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
According to the ref, the date on the temperature & precip figures was from 1998, which means that it would've been in last decade's averages. I provided updated information from an NCDC source, hope that's okay. Gopher backer 01:16, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
I'd say this is pretty close, except it maybe could use another image or two. Thoughts? Gopher backer 00:35, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
