I'm unclear why Italian submarine Galileo Galilei redirects to HMS X2 if it is more notable and had longer career under the original name than under the captured one. Can this be amended please? Thanks & Regards,

HMS X2 →
Italian submarine Galileo Galilei – Italian submarine that was on active duty with Italian Navy, had no active service with the British whatsoever. Why is it redirected to some bogus British submarine? Can we have HMS X2 redirecting to Italian submarine Galileo Galieli instead? That would make alot more sense. Thank you.

Agree This article truly belongs at Italian submarine Galileo Galieli. Its been moved around like a ping-pong ball. Brad 00:56, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Edit history preserved at HMS X2
I just performed the move request above, but the page previously at this title (
Italian submarine Galileo Galilei) had a nontrivial history, due to a previous merge between it and the HMS X2 article. I therefore performed the move as a "round robin", in order to leave the previous edit history intact for attribution purposes. It can now be found at HMS X2, which redirects here. Thanks —

Missing Reference
The footnotes make repeated reference to a source by "Giorgerini", but the relevant source does not appear in the bibliography. Can someone possessing the missing information correct this oversight? — Preceding
