The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that medieval Islamic geography placed the Island of the Jewel in the Sea of Darkness, east of the Dragon's Tail? For the curious, 2°N 173°E / 2°N 173°E / 2; 173 would roughly site this island at Charlotte Island in the Gilberts ( Kiribati) if it were in any way equivalent to the modern system. It's not, though, and we shouldn't give a {{ coord}} template for it without some source that goes through the trouble of explicitly adjusting al-Khwārizmī's prime meridian, circumference of the earth, units, and degree length to their modern equivalents. —  LlywelynII 00:19, 1 April 2015 (UTC) reply
