Zoroastrian Kurds in Armenia doesn't sound right. Is this meant to refer to the Yezidis? Khorshid 08:00, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
The article says Islam was forced onto Armenians, but they never converted. This is not true. Arabs, Muslims ruled Armenian region for over 1000 years, but according to this article, despite using all kinds of force, they failed to convert the Armenians ?. Its simply not true.
It simply is true, go do some research man, if it is not true than why is Armenia like 99.8% Christian right now, and the diaspora is all Christian. The only Armenians I've heard of convert to Islam were young Armenian children during the Armenian Genocide, they converted to Islam to be saved from the Turks, and before that young Armenian boys in the Ottoman Empire were converted into Islam and were made janissaries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.192.171 ( talk) 04:02, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
I believe that this article is missing a section about Hamshenis. GuggiePrg ( talk) 19:13, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Unknown IP you're going to need a better source than the turks.us VartanM ( talk) 19:38, 5 February 2009 (UTC) This article is so ridiculous...it isn`t even funny. When all DNA tests prove that overwhelmingly....Turks and Azeris are above all....descedants of the indigenous population of Anatolia and the Cacausus.....an article like this (in the face of all evidence) insists otherwise.
Pretty soon, we`ll all have access to cheap DNA tests, and modern nationalisms will finally be proven to be exactly what they are......Fairy Tales for the masses.
Hemshenis are probably only one of the many Armenian populations who over centuries converted to Islam and were assimilated into the Kurdish, Arabic, Persian, Azeri and Turkish populations. They`re probably only the tip of the iceberg. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.13.75 ( talk) 04:38, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
There's no reference to the masacare of 400 Nakharars by caliph abd al malik on this article: Nakharar. Did the event ever take place? Is that source dubious? Faro0485 ( talk) 00:23, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Where did you get this information from? Sounds strange! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.71.213.90 ( talk) 23:10, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
This section is poorly written and makes strong claims without citations. It needs to be re-written. But I am not qualified to do so. Can someone knowledgeable on this subject deal with this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.153.115.103 ( talk) 21:53, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
