This article is shrinking and expand at an alarming rate and i am not sure what to do. Any ideas? Or better yet, do something? Carptrash 18:44, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
I am not sure what the duress concerning the Noguichi article is about. I was simply glad to see a fairly comprehensive digest of his biography on these pages. I think he deserves even more attention.
That said, I really wanted to offer my own contribution as an external link for those who might enjoy another perspective on the man and his work; mine being a biography in verse, "Noguchi - The Man Who Entered Stone". I did not know how to add this to the 'External Link' section and wasn't entirely sure if it would be appropriate. I do think it offers some perspectives that more academic renderings, by definition, are not able to explore.
In any case, you are welcome to view the work (in progress) at: [ http://home.comcast.net/~redslider/Noguchi/main1.htm ] and judge for yourself. If you think it ought to be associated with the article please let me know, or feel free to include the link as you find suitable. - Red

Unfortunately, under the laws of the United States, sculptures and other 3D artworks are copyrighted and there is no freedom of panorama allowed. As a consequence, I have removed photos of all of Noguchi's works in the U.S. Because these are non-free photos, they can only be included under the terms set at WP:NFCC and gallery items that do not visually expand on concepts raised in the text certainly do not qualify. Please find replacements from examples from countries that have acceptable freedom of panorama for sculptures (see Commons:Commons:Freedom of panorama for details). howcheng { chat} 21:50, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
This looks notable enough to have a mention, but all I come up with is a line or two and sources. Those lines could be moved here and remove the link to Octetra. What's your pleasure? Dloh cierekim 22:57, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

As I encountered this article at the end of 2021, it has good coverage of the artists's life up through 1948. The last half of his life, from 1948-1988, has only a skeletal coverage in the article, and thus implies that he was not very active during this period. This is manifestly untrue, as Noguchi became world-famous and completed many major commissions during this period, as noted in the article itself. Because of this significant shortcoming, the article should be rated no better than Class C. Reify-tech ( talk) 23:56, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
