The article states: "As a child, Isabella was betrothed in 1265...". If she was born in 1252, she would have been 13 in 1265. Not a child by Medieval legal standard but a perfectly marriageable woman, given that marriageable age was 12 then. I would delete the anachronistic reference to 'childhood'

Interesting point. We should stick to the usage in the sources, so for now, I've changed it to "the young", though if there are sources who refer to her as a child, then it would be appropriate for the Wikipedia article to say that as well. --
