The first paragraph is lacking any sources and only represents the British's point of view, and lacks details from the perspective of the Spanish, indigenous Cubans, and Afro-Cubans. This is also true of the entire article. It is biased towards the British's history.

I was coming here to say the same thing. Despite the pronouncement in the lead that this battle took place on 21 July, the article never returns to explain this. The key elements seem to be that Wentworth lands his troops on 4-5 July, they eventually encamp and are sporadically raided for four months, and then they are withdrawn on 9 December. This is a campaign article and should be titled as such, and the significance if any of 21 July explained. If there are parts lifted directly from their sources these need to be rewritten or we have
copyvio problems.
