The last section seems to be purely advertisement from the company, with no citation. It should be deleted. 109.232.58.185 ( talk) 11:01, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
The contents is a copy from the website of the company. Just advertisement! Could one please rewrite this. Of course Intuitive Surgical is relevant. Would pure advertising context justify deletion of the article anyway? -- Timekeeper77 07:15, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Answer: No.
Here's the open-access press release. Note: This is a summary of the journal article reviewed by JAMA and Johns Hopkins before it's sent out, so it's a WP:RS
With Surgical Robot, Similar Outcomes Higher Cost
Dec. 18, 2013 — In a study of national data on colon surgery, Johns Hopkins researchers found that while patients who undergo either minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery or the high-tech robotic approach have similar outcomes, robotic surgery is significantly more expensive. $,3000 more expensive. "What we have found is that the robot is no better than laparoscopy and it costs more. It has no benefit."

Mary-Jayne Trainor from Intuitive here. Wanted to provide our updated logo for your use. My thanks again for the instruction on how to suggest updates/changes here. The logo file is not successfully being uploaded as an attachment here. Can you provide guidance on how to get that file to you? Thank you. Mjtrainor ( talk) 17:50, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
