Please see this link from ISSA. Barring a few recent cosmetic changes, the article uses the same words. While I think this should definitely have a page on Wikipedia, lifting promotional copy isn't the way to do it.-- Marysunshine 03:57, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
I've cut the copied sections and rewritten parts of the article. Will that do it? -- Mr. Billion 18:34, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Sure, I have no objections to it now. Thanks for stepping up to the plate and fixing this article! -- Marysunshine 19:26, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
The Canadian Federation of Students/Travel Cuts offices issue the card in canada its a true fact and the policy you posted for me to read the wording is very vauge
Directories, directory entries, TV/Radio Guide or a resource for conducting business. For example, an article on a radio station generally shouldn't list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, schedules etc. (although mention of major events or promotions may be acceptable). Furthermore, the Talk pages associated with an article are for talking about the article, not for conducting the business of the topic of the article.
Although I think my Original edit that included mention of Travel CUTS was against this policy.

Although it does appear to be a legitimate ISIC card...I think featuring Zacarias Moussaoui's card distracts from the rest of the article's content. It would be much better to have a generic photo...once that wasn't so loaded and unrelated...if someone had a better image...it would be much appreciated Farsnickle 20:30, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
So, I agree that this article is written one sided and like an advertisement. I also think it would be fair to add a section called criticism/drawbacks, for example limited recognition in many countries and by many museums or that many of the benefits and student discounts that ISIC lists are given to all students regardless if they hold a ISIC card or not. I also think the structure of the article needs reworking, some of the main titles should be demoted onto the next lower level. -Lumber Jack- ( talk) 23:27, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
I'm glad to see that at least one section contains facts! I propose to increase the quality of the Wikipedia by deleting all non-fact sections from the article.- 217.248.29.246 ( talk) 12:40, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
