EVP is a sub branch of ICT. EVP deals only with audio on cassette (or the equivalent of). ICT can be on video or even on a PC or TV screen.
Perfectblue, do you have a reference for ITC being studied by parapsychology? Parapsychology falls under the umbrella of psychology and most parapsychologists are not trained to address the associated questions of ITC, only whether or not it is a human condition. As I have stated many times, including quotes demonstrating the fact, parapsychology is very reluctant to even consider EVP.

Bauss researched ITC as part of his parapsychology paper into EVP. Besides, at the end of the day, the cause of ITC is likely to be the same as a cause of EVP. It's either real and caused by the same paranormal phenomena, or it's not real and is caused by the same wishful thinking and mistakes.
I note that you have not provided any of said quotes here.
