I've just finished a first pass at copyediting. Many problems remain:
While I tidied up the first few references and provided publisher information and the like, I gave up in the middle of the article. This is because:
The vast majority of references are
primary sources. Secondary sources are scarce. I couldn't find the widely cited book Annuaire 2011 - 50 ans d'histoire, apparently published by the alumni association, in the catalogues of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, which is an indication that it's not a
reliable source (and if it's indeed published by the alumni association it's not a secondary source anyway). The sources cited in the section
From creation to integration into IONIS Education group for the founders do not say what we cite them for. I didn't check many of the other references, and someone speaking French would be better suited to the task than I am.
The article suffered from severe
overlinking. I removed many redundant wikilinks, but I'm pretty sure I missed some others.
Many of the "notable" people did not have their own articles: An indication that they aren't notable after all. I removed the least notable ones, but I have doubts about some of the remaining ones, too.
I had no idea what one sentence was supposed to say: "The particularity of the university is to offer from the first year lessons relating to aeronautics in addition to basic scientific education and to provide a large part in project-based teaching throughout the curriculum." It should probably say that a large part of the teaching provided throughout the curriculum is project-based (and I reworded it to that effect), but I might be wrong. It's unreferenced anyway, and it should probably removed entirely.
In summary, I don't think the article is anywhere near good article status, and the poor references are by far the greatest hindrance.
