The bit about the "controversy" with Colbert's campaign must be cited correctly if it is to be included, as in its current state it's a WP:BLP violation. That means it properly formatted as a footnote, and properly attributed to the correct web address (as it's a web article). Anything that is not said in the article cannot be said here, and the language must be neutral. Oneconscious, see Template:Cite news to help you. I'm not going to add it in, as I don't think this is an important enough item to include in someone's biography.
