Perhaps I'm missing something, but I wonder about the claim that this "is the tallest structure in Minneapolis to be demolished intentionally." That doesn't seem correct, since this was succeeded as tallest building by the
Metropolitan Building, which itself was demolished intentionally. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks! --

Agreed. I was going to tag it but since you did almost 4 years ago I just did it. Here's what I cut: "This is the tallest structure in Minneapolis to be demolished intentionally. The Northwestern National Bank Building, though taller, was destroyed in a fire known as the
