Arent other antigens used aswell besides vaccins
Enough I believe to remove the notice on the page that more are required. I have added many, many references and see no major claims that remain unreferenced. Unless I read a countervailing argument here I will remove the notice FQ1513 ( talk) 20:28, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Are not all vaccines about immunizing the the body against some form of harmful organism? This article is about a huge subject of which cancer is but one subset. Also,I added a wiki and outside reference to Dr Coley's toxins Bgordski ( talk) 19:52, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
I think they should be mentioned in this section: 1.1.2.1 Genetically engineered T cells
Dr June's lab published an article in the NEJM on a case from a small scale pilot study using CAR (anti-CD19) T Cells in a refractory CLL patient. [1] More results from this study resulting in important anti-tumoral activity in 3/3 patients and complete remission in 2/3 patients sustained 10 months after the study (at the time when the article was published): [2] If anyone wants to edit the article, feel free. The table entitled "Approaches to therapeutic tolerance induction" in this section is rather poorly formatted and quite confusing. I am not even quite sure what it is trying to convey. At minimum, I think that:
