Concerning HPV, is it or is it not to be used during pregnancy?
Taking
Gardasil as the prototype, it should not be used during pregnancy.
[1]. During its investigation, when a pregnancy happened during the course of its administration, the immunization schedule was suspended until after the pregnancy. It should be added, that there appears to be no evidence of ill effects on the pregnancy or the fetus, and Gardasil is categorized as a
pregnancy category B agent. Nevertheless, more data are needed and the company maintains a pregnancy registry.
