Is it worth noting that the postcard picture on the page is incredibly similar to Ram's cover, and is maybe seen as John's response?
(new interview on myspace.com/ringostarr / he said that he is the drummer on imagine) Instead of saying this, cite it directly with ref tags. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stormchaser ( talk • contribs) 21:18, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Does anyone know who the J&P duo are, as it might be possible to start a page on them. John and Paul duo perhaps? It seems that maybe he was referencing the songwriting credit that existed when the song was written: 1968 Any other ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.125.122.9 ( talk) 23:40, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Image:JohnLennonImaginePostcard.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Regarding recent sparring over the title of the song "I Don't Wanna Be a Soldier Mama I Don't Wanna Die": There is a mix of usage. On the original album, the song title appears 3 times:
On the 2000 version of the Imagine CD, the title appears twice that I can see:
That's three different variations, but the most common is the longest, "I Don't Wanna Be a Soldier Mama I Don't Wanna Die", and given that includes all the words in the other variations, I think that's the best choice for this article. — John Cardinal ( talk) 03:54, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually on the original label it's "T Don't Want To Be A Soldier" Scatterkeir ( talk) 13:58, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
A quick look at the LP's inner sleeve verifies that Nicky Hopkins played electric piano on "Oh My Love" (track 7) and piano on "How Do You Sleep" (track 8), and that Joey Molland and Tom Evans played acoutic guitar on "I Don't Want to Be a Soldier" (track 5) but not on "Jealous Guy" (track 3), and Steve Brendell played upright bass on "Crippled Inside" (track 2) and maracas on "I Don't Want to Be a Soldier". Why are the edits attempting to correct this section being summarily reverted? What source is being cited to support the current version and exactly what does that source say? Piriczki ( talk) 15:01, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
According to the credits on the LP's inner sleeve, the personnel section should be as follows:
Can anyone cite a reliable source that supercedes this? Piriczki ( talk) 12:47, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
So hey, on the original LP labels, the album is credited to "John Lennon Plastic Ono Band (with the Flux Fiddlers)". By 1987, the album was credited to solely Lennon. Is there a reason for the switch ? Should this page reflect that ? - Matharvest
but I've decided to remove this:
until such time as someone tells me what songs he played on, because even if he was there, that's not notable unless he . . .... you know, played on something. Einar aka Carptrash ( talk) 07:01, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

I've started a discussion at Talk:WP Albums regarding the inclusion of these two in the reviewer ratings box. Personally, I'm not convinced of their eligibility. If anyone's got any thoughts on this issue, please feel free to weigh in at the discussion there. Thanks, JG66 ( talk) 09:27, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
