I edited the link to Crissy to go to the actual article for the doll rather than a link to an edit page.-- Starladustangel 07:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
I have an old Toy boat called the Phantom Freighter made by Ideal. It opens up to a battleship type of boat. It is battery powered. Does anyone have any more information on this toy? Buckw23:14, 3 September 2006
Seems the Toni has been overlooked in the list of dolls. Came in three or four sizes with a (toy) Toni home permanent kit. Try to buy this doll today for less than sixty dollars! Anewcharliega ( talk) 00:49, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
The name as used in copyright registrations is "Ideal Toy Corp." (Ideal Toy Corporation), not "Ideal Toy Company."
This page should be renamed with a redirect from the current incorrect name. Guy Macon 16:55, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
See http://randomactsofgeekery.blogspot.com/2008/08/cool-stuff-coloring-books-and-more.html about Ideal's Klikit. Hope this helps! Darci ( talk) 02:51, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
More than half of the products listed here are redlinked. I'm going to remove all redlink, if no one has any objections. -- FeldBum ( talk) 01:40, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
I've seen some 1970s (1971?) Crossfire (board game) sets on ebay with the Ideal Toy Company logo, the crossfire board game page though implies it was always a Milton Bradley product, and I'm not sure which is correct; it would seem from the date of the famous 1990s tv commercials that Milton Bradley must have owned the product by 1991 and likely earlier. Article states that early dolls were made of composition, and refers to later dolls being made of vinyl or hard plastic. A full list and timeline of all the materials used would be great. For example, it would clarify whether Ideal (and others) made celluloid dolls, and if so, what kinds of plastic succeeded celluloid, and when. yoyo ( talk) 08:35, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
