This is a really good article so far, but I wonder what happened in her life from 1917-1935. I found this about her important work on trachoma in Missouri during the pandemic: https://thenewinquiry.com/blog/selective-blindness-ida-bengtson-and-the-treatment-of-trachoma/ and think some of it should be included.
