The IBM 1400 series was used as I/O processors for the 7090, and even the 7040. I wasn't aware of a 7040 used as an I/O processor for a 7090. Objective3000 ( talk) 01:29, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
The 7040 does not seem to be in the SMS database, perhaps it is after the doc the SMS DB is based on ? - Rod57 ( talk) 03:27, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
