I am reassessing this article for GAR as there are currently numerous issues present:
1) For one of the five deadliest hurricanes, with lasting effects on the economies and agricultures of the affected regions, the article is severely lacking in crucial information. As pointed out by @
Cyclonebiskit: the impact sections, notably for Cuba, the second hardest hit country, are inadequate.
2) The aftermath for Cuba and Haiti, the two worst affected nations, is completely absent.
3) There are several important sources that have not been incorporated, which would also fleshen out these sections. A quick search brings up
this and
this book, which mention the amount of homeless across the Greater Antilles and the hurricane's long-lasting impacts on the agriculture. There are also some
journal articles on the hurricane's effects, including on a
malaria epidemic in Haiti. I haven't even begun checking for Spanish or French language sources.
Edit - I found
[1] this page, which has a ton of Cuba information and lists to two reliable sources, including
an article from Granma. I especially like the image that shows a close-up of Flora's remarkable, rare path over Cuba. Surely something PD-friendly can be recreated with a modern satellite image and the best track.

It is hard to find relevant images for storms this old, although there may be some floating around somewhere I found some images from Haiti, although an image for Cuba would be nice (see idea above)
Update - I am delisting the article given that the above review has been open for nearly a month and there have been no efforts at addressing the comments.
