Frankly, I'm not sure if the hook as currently written would be interesting, or at least understandable, to a non-specialist audience unless there were pictures of the actual pinnacles in question.

AirshipJungleman29 Good question. But as it is not in the article itself, as the reviewer I am happy with "grow" here in the hook as I believe hooks can be less "encyclopedic" and more expressive than articles.
