New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Both hooks are verified and hook refs cited inline; I think ALT1 is worded a little better, though ALT0 is also interesting. Images in article are freely licensed. QPQ done. Good to go.

FWIW, I think ALT0 is by far a much more interesting hook. I've seen human zoos depicted in science fiction, but it never occurred to me that humans were ever actually exhibited at a zoo in real life.
