George D'Urban Drury (usually given as G.D. Drury was collector of Coimbatore from 26 Feb 1828 to 8 February 1832 and was involved in cotton introduction and should not be confused here) - (25 Aug 1841, born in the Madras Presidency, India - 1920, Northampton)
Some sources give a G. W. Drury who was Collector of the Coimbatore district from 1833 to 1841
