Interesting note about
The original Harpoon label featured a picture of a man holding a harpoon. This image was adapted from a photo of a hunter holding some ducks he had shot. The harpoon was added to the hand that had been holding the ducks. You can still see the gunstock in his other hand, though the barrel of the gun was removed from the photo.

"Harpoon used to produce several non-alcoholic sodas, including root beer, orange and cream, and cream soda, but ceased production in 2009. However, Harpoon root beer is currently available at both their breweries." So are they selling very old root beer, or is this just wikincompetence in editing? — Preceding
