Judging by the rhyming scheme, I don't think the word in the anthem should be "ears"! Was this bowdlerised version the official published one? I'm sure it wasn't what they actually sang.

I once met a member of this club, and he referred to it as the "Flying Guinea Pig Club", no doubt due to the fact that all members were ex-pilots or air crew. He had a badge on his tie, and it was a Guinea Pig with wings.

"Regularly meets"?
Does anyone know for certain that the club still "regularly meets"? The last I heard of it was in about 2005, when it seemed to be being wound down because of the aging membership. There can't be many members under 90 by now.
