The article is misleading - she has not said anything about GW2 being anounced. Gaile Gray has stated that "some of what you've read is right, some of it is wrong, and quite a bit of it is misleading" and that "The good news is that the top game publications in Europe and the U.S. are preparing feature articles with major Guild Wars news ... In the U.S., PC Gamer will begin delivery of the May issue to subscribers on March 15, and it will be on newsstands on April 3". Interpretting this to mean something specifically about a presumed GW2 is speculative at best. -- 67.168.14.198 04:05, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

The old AfD was cloed because there was no information on this game. This information has now been released. The relevant text must now be moved here from Guild Wars. Please do not reverse this without discussion. Eric Sandholm 15:29, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

We could always wait and get the art from the offical GW Wiki since apparently there is concept art of the charr and so on. -- 198.254.16.201 18:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC) http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Image:CharrConceptArt.jpg
Plus that is concept art from GW1, after all the Charr were first shown in the orginal game. That art has long since bee made public and does not pertain to GW2.--

http://gw.gamewikis.org/, often known as "GuildWiki", is not an official wiki. Its content is also licensed for non-commercial use only, under Creative Commons license. So its contributed material is incompatible with Wikipedia's GFDL license. The official Guild Wars wiki can be found here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/. All the content on the offical wiki is licensed under the same license as Wikipedia -- the GFDL. So these should maintain perfect "compatibility". So I recommend the new official wiki if you're intending to re-use content here. -- Northgrove 11:22, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

"characters will use whatever skills they currently have to aid them." Does this mean the 8 skill limit will be abandoned? This should be clarified in the main page —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Natrilix ( talk • contribs) 05:45, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Has ArenaNet officially announced the system requirements for GW2? I hadn't seen them yet; but then real world issues have kept me from following updates as closely as I would like.
However, the listed specs do look suspicious; I'm not sure if the game is even in alpha testing yet (GW:EN is supposedly in alpha now, but seems too early for GW2), also the specs shown here are identical to the specs shown for GW:Nightfall - given the changes that they've announced wanting to implement in the game world, I would find it hard to believe that it could still run on a system at those same specs.
But, if ArenaNet has released this info, can someone post a link? --- Barek ( talk • contribs) - 15:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Image:GW2 logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
