I think it's fairly obvious that this is the correct English name for 广州白云国际机场... but what should the previous airport, also called 广州白云国际机场, be called? (It's now under Baiyun International Airport.) I would propose something like Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (old), or alternatively the former location (what district was it?) in parentheses. Jpatokal 05:09, 9 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Both the new and the old airports are called "广州白云国际机场", I think to use "Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport(old/closed)" to describe the old one is appropriate. The old airport is also in Baiyun District.

I do agree that we should make some change on the title of these two topics, since both the previous and present airport of Guangzhou are called "Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport" (广州白云国际机场). I mean why not change the now-showing Baiyun International Airport into Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (1933~2004) as what chinese Wikipedia did? Please consider moving all the alternate information in the lead (different languages and scripts etc) and put them in the infobox instead.-- Filll 17:23, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
