The article could seriously benefit from a lot more references. For example: "a development which sparked protests from the local Christian-dominated community." Where's the source for this? There are a lot more in the article itself. And please be more specific. References can't just read "Manila Bulletin, accessedXXXXXXX". That doesn't say anything at all.
