I unfortunately don't know anything about the IOOF and wouldn't really know where I would start. I was able to write this through familiarity with the topic and knowing where to get the sources. From looking around at IOOF articles, it looks like IOOF has one Sovereign Grand Lodge for the United States and then regional grand lodges that work underneath it. As opposed to Masonic grand lodges, which are all entirely independent of each other with their own governance and history. So there may not be as many sources available for a Tennessee IOOF article as there are for Tennessee Freemasonry; that also may explain why there aren't currently any other state-based IOOF articles on Wikipedia. While I think it'd be good to have an IOOF Tennessee article, I don't think I can really be the person to write it! I've moved over the discussion from my Sandbox talk page to here.

Note that
this is a list of the Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of the Odd Fellows of Tennessee. It gets confusing because they use the same terminology.

We may need to create a separate article about the Odd Fellows Grand Lodge of Tennessee and add a wikilink to a "see also" section.

I think they should be separate articles but we should definitely have two articles with two separate lists of former Grand Masters. We need to make sure our readers understand that "Grand Lodge of Tennessee" and "Grand Masters" do not always refer to the Masons. They should also be able to double-check the lists if they see the term "Grand Master".

The bio for him in this book is simply "Born May 21, 1783. Died November 19, 1858. Buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. Lawyer. Presbyterian Minister." So I while it's an interesting connection, I don't think we have enough info to make a stub about him!

I think he was probably notable but we may need to wait for professional historians, not complete nobodies like us, to publish more research on him first.
