Why was a fake logo posted? No offense, Mr. Júlio Santos Monteiro but that's a pretty shameless plug.
This page is based on rumours and speculations and is in no way verifiable. I think it should be pulled down Dmitriid 11:05, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I think that are such articles useful, well especially their talk pages. On the other hand I remember when there was the rumours about open sourced Blender, almost nobody believed back then... -- Popski ( talk) 18:13, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think this article is ever going to grow out of its stub status. It's about an internal project within Google that the organization has a policy of not discussing publicly.
Is there somewhere else we can merge this article, perhaps? — mako ( talk• contribs) 18:14, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
"While both Google and Ubuntu's creator Mark Shuttleworth have confirmed..." We either need to name both or neither creators, because even theough I understand that you are in fact using 'Google' as a singular entity, the phrasing should be more along the lines of the following: "While both Google and Mark Shuttleworth, creator of Ubuntu, have confirmed..."

According to this article, Google and Canonical actually are close partners on a number of projects, and Ubuntu is no exception. I agree that Google is contributing back to Ubuntu, and I'm sure Google could easily advertise Ubuntu using Google Ads, YouTube, or even TV. This is very good news.

Is this article really needed? I don't think it meets the threshold of importance, since it is only used internally. Smihael ( talk) 08:50, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

I propose to merge gLinux into Goobuntu. From what we publicly know, gLinux and Goobuntu are basically identical, other than the different distros, and serve the exact same purpose. It would also help lengthen this stub a bit. curcle. talk. 18:18, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
