Hayman30: Forbes calling the song a pop/hip hop hybrid is explicitly calling it a pop and hip hop song as it's literally saying the song is a mix of pop and hip hop. Calling it one of the "best pop songs this year" is using pop in a generalistic way, it's not going into specifics in terms of genre.

Fan4Life: I already explained my rationale I'm not going to repeat myself here. It doesn't matter if they're "using pop in a generalistic way" or not, they're still explicitly calling it a pop song.

Hayman30: It does matter, if we used statements like that to source genres then most of Ariana's songs would just have pop in the infobox instead of their actual genres. Calling it a pop/hip hop hybrid is explicitly calling it a pop and hip hop song.

Since
Binksternet's
on how the song is being stylized, uses articles to justify the song to be stylized as "God Is A Woman". Multiple digital and streaming platforms stylize the song as "God is a woman", though I believe this should be taken into consideration, since this is coming directly from albums. There should be clarification to prevent further reverts or edits regarding to the stylization for the article. †MunRis†18:57, 18 December 2018 (UTC)reply
If we tell the reader that the title has a certain style, then that style should be consistent in the artwork. The biggest problem here is that "sentence case" style is contradicted very strongly by the song's artwork which has all caps:
File:God Is a Woman single cover.png. The official lyric video file title is shown in sentence case but the video itself shows the title in all caps.
[1] The problem is further complicated by our cited sources choosing the usual headline case, for instance Consequence of Sound.
[2] Headline case is also used by Rolling Stone, Idolator, Variety, Forbes, etc. So there's no consistency in the official style from Ariana Grande and her label, just a consistent normal song headline case style in the sources.

Every word in the lyric video is in all caps, that's just how that certain font used in the video is; same case with the official cover art, its in all caps because of that particular font. Does that mean we should now put “stylized in all caps” now? Artwork and video doesn't = digital and streaming platforms. I think if Grande and her team purposely stylized this and other songs as “God is a woman” (lowercase) on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube titles and more, then it should be noted since that's how she/they wanted it, regardless of what other news and gossip sites put by choice. This is the same case with albums like Astroworld, with the titles being all apps.

GogoGrande, if "Grande and her team" did not put the song's artwork in sentence case, then they are not consistent with the style. The artwork is an integral part of the production.

While the artwork displays all caps, the official music video is titled in sentence case. It would be better to use from what is coming from the album rather than artwork. The artwork should not be the only genuine and supreme decision in this, and take stylization of the track from what is given from the album by Republic Records. Another option is to include "stylized in sentence case on digital platforms", since articles are stylizing it as a headline, while digital platforms are using sentence case, which is also coming from Republic Records. †MunRis†06:16, 20 December 2018 (UTC)reply
I think it's appropriate to tell the reader that the song title is styled in sentence case on digital platforms. That note can go in the article body. But the artwork is equally relevant, not more relevant than the title, and not less. So putting the note up at the very first sentence seems out of balance with how the song is presented by the label.

Support keeping stylization - Regardless of font used in visual media such as lyric videos and artwork, the song title is sentence cased on every streaming and digital platform (incl. the name of said lyric video btw). No need to disservice readers by removing it just cuz a few editors think its clutter.--

Support keeping stylization - The song title is sentence cased on her album and official music apps. I don't get why is this a big issue, there's more constructive things to be dealt with this encyclopedia.
Binksternet, you are the only one trying to remove the stylization, you must reach consensus here and the article should remain in a previous version (status quo) before the edit war.
This edit is disruptive. --Miaow17:58, 21 December 2018 (UTC)reply
Support keeping stylization - Since all the songs are stylized like that on the album on iTunes, Spotify, Youtube etc. Artwork seems irrelevant to me since a font is used where it's al caps.

Support keeping stylization - Removing stylization means having the reader be uninformed about how it is viewed on digital platforms, which is essential to both the track name as well as the album overall, since the album is also stylized in lower case, and the track name in sentence case. Wikipedia is a place to list facts and unbiased information for the reader to learn, and removing such information is what not Wikipedia is about, as the current discussion has revealed of editors' opinions on stylizations.†MunRis†04:47, 23 December 2018 (UTC)reply
