The current name origin in the etymology section is unsourced, and when I search to find the name's origin online I find conflicting stories. None of the stories come from an authoritative source. Some websites suggest that Glendive is a corruption of Glendale and does not come from the Irish language. Does anyone know which of these stories might be true?
