Per
WP:COMMONNAME, a recent name change is usually not grounds to move a Wikipedia article. It has to become the most commonly used name in reliable sources first. If there is a point you still believe most journalists are not calling it "Geneshift", I suggest going through
WP:RM to propose a move, but right now that doesn't seem like the case so I think it should stay where it is. An example unrelated to video games is that
Robert F. Kennedy Bridge was renamed in 2008, but only renamed on Wikipedia in 2021 after common usage changed sufficiently.
