"Sandusky, Ohio" why not just leave the pure wikilink to
Sandusky, Ohio ?
Lead para has a few choppy very short sentences, consider merging a couple to improve the flow.
Again, as always in these articles, find links for jargon link "inversions".
"The new ride replaced" you mean "Gatekeeper replaced...
"and raised Cedar Point's quantity of roller coasters to 16." how? They demolished one roller coaster and a gyro tower, and built one roller coaster.
Order of lead is odd too, you mention the start of construction 2/3 of the way through the second sentence, surely this should be earlier?
"$25,000,000 - $30,000,000[1]" en-dash to separate the numbers, could you use m as million instead of all those zeros?
What or who or where is Erie?
"US$25 million" compare this to the format in the infobox... Consistency here would be good.
Stop saying "the new roller coaster" each para and reiterate "GateKeeper".
"The park had to do hundreds" -> "had to do" is yuck prose. Maybe "Hundreds of tests were conducted..."?
Image captions which aren't complete sentences don't need a period.
"About 12,000,000 pounds" again, why not "12 million"?
Is it GateKeeper or GateKeeper ? Be consistent.
Check reference titles for compliance with
WP:DASH i.e. use en-dash and not spaced hyphens.
Seven external links looks a little bit adverty to me.
Some issues, but nothing too major, so I'll put it on hold for a week.
