FYI, I sandboxed this article content on my personal wiki project at http://labelingthoughts.org/wiki/Khenpo_Gangshar, since I wanted similar material to live there. That content is CC 3.0 licensed as well, and I wrote all of it, so there is no copyright issue with using it here as well. I don't know that this comment would be appropriate in the main article, but I observe that one English translation of "Khenpo Gangshar" would be "Doctor Whatever".
