Sorry to go off the point, but you can't die of cardiac arrest; cardiac arrest can occur because of an underlying disease like coronary heart disease, or trauma etc. — Preceding

The wording has been changed to "heart failure", which is the disease that caused the cardiac arrest. Ongoing cardiac arrest causes brain death within 4 to 6 minutes due to the heart no longer pumping oxygenated blood to the brain and around the body. A person dies once their heart has stopped beating i.e. cardiac arrest, which is considered the primary sign of death - but it is not a disease that one can die from, because cardiac arrest needs to be caused by something else. -
