@ Jimbo Wales: I did a quick rewrite. I assume it was "providing prescriptive rules, embodied as maxims, to guide living well" that he objected too. The moralistes were not primarily engaged in prescriptive ethics. Srnec ( talk) 01:18, 1 September 2021 (UTC) reply
